I have a book to reveal. The book will present itself to you, much like the revealing destiny in the prologue of this 1930 ish novel. I will leave ample clues in this brief discourse so my sleuthful bookish confidants can enjoy a solitary pleasure, a pleasure reserved for the inquisitive nature of our kind. I expect this reveal, and our anticipated discussion, to only temporarily quench our appetite to seek the truth; by rubbing elbows with a wisdom revealed through unspoken words; to right-size conjecture by engorging our minds with the gifted insight of a borrowed mind...as only Men of our scarcity allow.
I ask your indulgence. Like a beggar this reveal however requests your spare time; in order to reenact a fable. I am sending you to the market. Not a market in Baghdad or somewhere in Iraq. The West Shore Market. In the prologue, a similar request is made of a servant to go to the market. This event foreshadows his destiny; a fate that awaits us all. Rest assured unlike the servant you will not be jostled by a threatening gesture. Rather it will be the start of a surprise. A quest to nurture our literary prowess that will further inflate our enormous but well balanced ego.
You have an Appointment, in the market at a time and place herin disclosed to but a few. If fate allows, as it avails men of ample codpiece, to control one's destiny, go to the West Sore Market, this Saturday morning between 10:00 and 10:15. Go upstairs. Proceed to the end of the level opposite the Book Worm. There you will find small dining tables. Notice an oak church pew nestled behind the tables. A few fake office trees garnish the ends of the pew. There, on the pew in the right side corner, you will notice a package, wrapped in brown paper. Your MOP names will be disclosed on each parcel but will remain a mystery but to the entitled. Go forth and seek the truth in the written word.
I invite you to join me for coffee in the market if time avails. As the book is revealed so to shall my identity.
Time: Saturday; January 31st; West Shore Market
