My Spidy Senses were Tingling

Gentlemen,

I finally got around to doing my laundry from last weekends majestic walk in the woods. As I fumbled through my rucksack I came upon my water bottle that was used to house our council meeting Spiderman. My eyes widened as they tried to focus on what was now living within it's plastic walls.

As you can see our 'little fellow' had thrived in his new home. He had literally sucked up all of the water and grown to super-hero size.

The task of removing him from the bottle was not an easy one; a task I would liken to that of child birth.

Unfortunately my first attempt resulted in a tragic dismembering of his right hand. But on the second try (with the help of heavy lubrication) I was able to bring him into the world successfully. Behold our first son....a son of the parchment...if you will.

He can live at my place until the next council meeting. Then either Colin or Tyson can decide what his future holds. If it's anything like the previous ceremony, I'm sure it won't disappoint.

I'll keep you all updated on his progress i.e. first words, walking, web slinging etc.

Warren, I just felt someone needed to comment on this. I, again, sent an email to the other MOP members, but the one I sent to you came back, rejected like our absorbent friend felt after MJ dissed him time and time again.

Anyway, it was a superb piece of writing and as Evan and I discussed, I would love to see someone's reaction as they stumbled upon our blog.

in other news, I think I have a book for the next council meeting. If Tyson would concede this round to me, I'll take the reigns. I would then start a new blog once I have picked the book. This and next week are crazy busy, so maybe by, say, November 12, we will have our selection? How does deese sound?

Again, kudos, Warren.

Colin, I'm sorry I did not receive the email you speak of. I can only imagine what was written. I'm sure it was extremely witty, and it saddens my heart to think I may never get to read it. I feel like a wench who will never get the chance to observe an MOP council meeting. What a horrible feeling!

November 12th sounds good to me. I'm excited already. I'm reading 'The Tender Bar' right now. It's very good so far. It would have been a great book for the club too.

Yeah, it is a nice read, and I would have suggested having the Council at the Pep Grill, but alas, we must look elsewhere.

Oh, and my email wasn't that witty at all, just sort of a "Hey, nice post" type communique.

Sire Tyson, is it OK with you if I select the next read?

Indeed my friend it is yours to choose. I trust it will have the richness of content only a man of the parchment can possibly hope to comprehend.
