I thought I would take the liberty of posting this blog as 75% of the council members are currently 'south of the border' outrunning the law, sampling the local cuisine, and consuming mucho cerveza!
So heres the email that Brother von Pluma sent out after the last council meeting:
Thanks for making this past Saturday such a good council. I wanted to forward a response from the Bethesda Mission woman I was working with:
Colin,
Thank you so much for your help on Saturday. You did a great job! I have heard good things!! Let me know when you want to come back and I 'll let you know what still needs to be done. Have a good week.
Deb King
Feels good, don't it? Oh, that last sentence is because I had offered to come back perhaps. The Prince is growing at a frantic pace. With some big shoes to fill, he is doing a damn good job. Anyway, great discussion, great cigars/whisky/doughnuts/coffee, great third council.
Til the next time,
Von Pluma

I concur that our third council was an immense success! Just wanted to shoot out a reminder that we need to get this letter out to Dad soon. Thoughts?
Guys, do you have the ability to scan your signature and send to me??? Evan, I can get yours, but Tyson and Warren? Or can you fax it to this number 717-909-8906? (let me know if/when you do so I can snatch it quick off the fax). I need it for the invitational letter. Also, we need to establish our MOP names I think...
Colin, excellent work on the third council. I third the comments from the others that it was an enormous and enjoyable success.
Let me also say that your work on the acceptance letter is superb and I can't think of anything to change. It contains the perfect combination of the wit and wisdom that personify a MOP
Thanks, guys, for the comments about the weekend and the letter. There aren't too many groups of guys you can take to paint a homeless shelter on a Saturday afternoon who will thank you for it. I love what our group is becoming. Also, kind words about the invitational letter. I see us honing our literature for ceremonies, membership, etc. for years to come. It is really so much fun. With permission, I'd like to covertly sneak the letter into Bob/Dad's presence over the next couple days. Is everyone OK with this?
My vote is to proceed
I also vote to proceed with the invitation. I think the sooner that coxcomb wraps his eyes around that glorious letter the better!
Words on 'Parallel Worlds': I can literally feel my brain grow every time I open the book! I've only read 40 some pages..but I've had a number of 'wow' moments already!
*Coxcomb Alert*
Did any of you guys notice the coxcomb intrusion on our beloved blog. It's the last comment to appear on the 'Macot' post.
Damn straight it's a 'cool blog' Dr. Baughman! How dare he bastardize our blog in this fashion. Off with his head!
Damn straight I am aware of the coxcomb presence. I have to say, it is flattering, albeit treasonous.
