Mystery Book

Well, you have come this far so that soon the truth may be revealed to you. You are only moments from discovery! I assume you have received your letter in the mail and there is one final step to revealing the parchment. There is a website you must access which will give you the truth you seek. Before you may know the web address, I must once again confirm your identity. Please text message me the name of any item we have both grown and burned thus far at a council meeting. When I have confirmed that you are who you say you are, the web address will be texted to you.

Now, after accessing the website, enter your code (from your letter) into the box on the right and enter number “8” into the “key value” box. Click on the decode button and Gentlemen...the selection will be revealed!

Holy cow is this riveting. Brother Schmear, you may have outdone yourself and saved yourself after these sleepless months. I await my mail parcel with much excitement!

I can't think of a better way to reveal the next parchment selection. I agree with Von Pluma, you really have outdone yourself.
I hope my letter wings it's way from the mountains of Montana with great haste! Hmmmmmm

I must say that i too was duly impressed with your parchment delivery style Lieb. You have managed to add an interesting element of intrigue to your long anticipated read. Bravo!

Master Lieb - I received my letter in my postbox last night, and as you know I have decoded my message. I will not spoil the surprise for the other members, but I will say that I'm very excited. As I type this comment my parchment is being shipped by a company located deep in the Amazon...
I can smell fresh parchment and feel crisp papel already!

I just rushed to my mailbox with heightened senses, only to find I must wait at least another day to be a part of the secret. Soon...

Fellow bibliomaniacs, as I engage myself with this latest parchment, I feel quite inspired to partake in poetic expression. I think it might be nice for us all to share a poem or 2 at the next council meeting. Though the date and location have not yet been set, I wanted to give us all ample time for such a task. I will not place any restrictions or qualifications on your poetic expression, I just want our superior creative juices to flow freely. I look forward to hearing all your works at our next council!

Just so I'm clear, Master Lieb, are you requesting we write our own original poems or that we find some already written gems to share with the council? Also, do we have a time frame in mind for this next meeting?

Master Lieb Schmear said...

Yes Count, I think it would be more rewarding and fulfilling if we were to write our own works, not someone else's. As for a date, I have been thinking that over but I think my future is to uncertain at this juncture to say. I shall know soon once my next job is lined up or I am Rogueing it back to PA!

Well i gotta tell you Master Lieb, after reading your suggestion my first thought was POETRY!! Then after some quiet time i thought POETRY! Just between us cockscombs, this idea will stretch my admittedly thin literary acuity to a new level of transparency. Nice idea.

Quick note - I'm thrilled to see all members now have a profile pic. Good work.
Secondly, I'm both excited and nervous about the challenge of writing our own poetry to read at the next council meeting. Perhaps a few glasses of vino would help get the creative juices flowing...
