Greetings. I just thought I'd share this short article about changing gender roles and such. It's told from a women's perspective. I know we've talked about this sort of thing from time to time and thought the MOP would enjoy.

I for one never believed in this fantasy. I think money and prosperity have a way of distorting social reality temporarily. In a civilization blessed with abundance in a land of laws, some degree of gender balancing is inevitable. Fortunately nature is on our side boyezzz.
Interesting article - and always a hot topic...especially nowadays.
Interestingly, I just used that jpeg in my power point presentation for my consumer behavior lecture tomorrow on the changing gender role. It all comes back to nature versus nurture...
As long as one of the top 5 things women continue to like in a man is a scar we'll never be finished! (recent survey in the news)
As long as the world needs economics, politics, technology, poetry, literature, and combustion engines...we'll be alright fellas!
The pleasuer of your company is requested for the evening of this Wednesday, October 5th, at 8:00ish P.M. on the deck of of Tyson's house in Beacon the Hill. The evening will promise to include fair weather to accompany an hour long cigar of notoriety and a growler of Troegs. We have much to rekindle; much to share; much to rejoice;and much to affirm....that Men aren't Finished! No regrets accepted; Peace & pomposity.
I wish I could attend this event. Indeed there is much to celebrate. I am off to get a cigar or two myself. Incidentally, I may start a thread on humidors as I have done some research on Amazon and am ready to make a purchase.
Anyway, congratulations as yet another one of our brethren has succumbed to the ways of the woman.
In the word,
CLVP
A fine idea indeed Pompous and one which I gladly support and eagerly anticipate. Our days on the "boat de la pontoon" feel like ages ago and I yearn for the companionship of the MOP in a setting where our true red-bloodedness can go unrestrained.
I'll see you all there (in some form or another). Hummmmmmm!
Likewise, I shall join. Although I may be a little later than 8pm as I have to put the child to bed. Feel free to start discussions without me.
I thoroughly enjoyed last evening's gathering. Thank you Pompous for supplying the short and punchy cigars. I can still taste it's deliciousness even now, as I enjoy my morning coffee. Also, gracias for the fine pale ale. It felt like an appropriate farewell salute to Troegs Harrisburg.
McPageturner - your yacht sized deck provided the perfect stage to witness falling stars and flying planes. Moreover, your gigantic bags of potato chips supplied the neccessary nutrition to make it through the evenings proceedings.
I have the idea to fuel the next book choice. It's in the works.
Go forth.
On a side note - who is this DannyLove fellow!? I'm fairly certain that is not the name of our newest member.
Act accordingly 'DannyLove'.
Lord Lloyd,
Is there a way that I can reveal my true identity on this blog page but keep my other identity on blogger.com since I have another blog that I write on where people cannot know my true identiy? I tried to figure out a way to change my name here, but not on my All Will be Well blog. Let me know.
Duke Pelota de Carne
Duke Pelota de Carne,
I'm afraid not. They are one in the same. You must make a choice. The red pill or the blue pill!
I'm realizing that we have quite the Spanish (or Latino) influence among our members:
Lord Lloyd de Papel
Count Lapiz von Pluma
Duke Pelota del Carne
Very interesting...or muy interesante...
