2 Flushes, 3 Flames

Well boys, it seems the October 25th date is a bit trying for the crew.  I know Brother Lloyd gave an enthusiastic burn response to the letter, but that he initially had reservations and probably is breaking some commitments.  Brother Pompous has not posted burn or flush but gave me a verbal that he is in.  Unfortunately, he is coming from St. Marys that day from a weekend of hunting and so Sunday's rendezvous is less than ideal for him.  Brother Readie has had an unfortunate work mtg come up so now he is a flush.  Brother Papel obviously cannot make the trek though I trust is enthusiastically devouring the parchment.  Considering all of this, I wanted to re-consult the council and open consideration for other dates.
As you have hopefully figured out by now, the book is set in the Medieval Age.  Ideally, the Renaissance Faire would be a perfect venue.  However, October 25th is the very last day the RF is open until next year.  So, if we pick another date, that option is out. So I guess the first question is, do we want to keep the date as is or should we try and hash out another date where we can have better attendance?  If we are not doing the RF, May I suggest Saturday, November 15th as a possible date.  There is a Shakespeare play, Twelfth Night, playing at the Gamut Theatre.  Thought that might be a cool activity given that this book is a Shakespeare adaptation of King Lear.  If that is not an option, I'd say we just throw some dates out there and have a classic evening council with a fire, some stogies, and hearty libations in the backyard.  I wanted to utilize the MOP webpage but it might be best to hash this out via Google Hangouts to have more of a live discussion.  Let's get the conversation going!

Yours truly,
Mater Lieb
