Gentlemen, it is my great pleasure to unveil to you our next selection. An experimental parchment for a group of men not afraid to break from convention, not afraid to open their minds, not afraid to push their own limits.
Making its start as a bundled heap of papers being passed around years ago, it finally made its way into parchment form in 2000, with collectible versions selling for over $200 today. The unconventional format and reportedly disjointed nature, as well as the girth of this parchment beg comparisons with A Winter’s Tale. By many accounts this parchment redefines what a book can be. Rather, to poach an Amazon review, this is more than a book. It’s an obsessive, paranoia inducing, claustrophobic, puzzle of a masterpiece.
On the heels of some quick reads this will prove to be a contrast. Drawing obvious parallels with the endowment of a MOP, this selection is neither short in length nor quick to finish. Book clubs with mixed membership would dare not attempt such a read, one which a MOP would relish.
The puzzle does not begin on page one. I offer these clues
Accept your fate and join me
- The format of this parchment precludes the ability to make an ebook. Therefore your’s truly is getting this one stamped
- Make sure you order the FULL COLOR version
- This book “leaves” a lot to the imagination
- The opening narrator, Johnny, could be accused of being absent from school without permission
- This parchment was accompanied by a companion piece, a full length album recorded by the author’s sister known professionally as Poe.

I'm looking forward to our half-time review of this behemoth of baffling but beautiful and creative prose describing a wonderous and imaginary tale, or is it?
