Soooooo who likes books and stuff?

I decided to create a new post on the blog as the previous one has been up here since Moses was a boy, AND 29 comments on one post is way too many! It's depressing people!
Instead I thought we could all stare at this lovely photograph of tumbleweed blowing down the street of some forgotten ghost town in the middle of Nowheresville.
Yup pretty boring eh?
Now imagine this place without books. Now picture it without the alluring smell of fresh cigar smoke. Ok stop crying.
This place I speak of friends...it's our hearts and minds.
Master Lieb - for the sake of all that is good, rejuvenate our hearts and minds!

Men, I understand your thirst for parchment and that I have driven you all to near dehydration, but alas, a book will surface soon! I too have been traveling through this desert running from mirage to mirage in search for just one parchment worthy of this great council. Now that I once again have the internet, rest assured the search is almost over and an oasis will soon present itself. So I say, grab your bookmarks, replace the batteries in your book lights, bookmark amazon.com, and prepare to quench your thirst!

Praise to Brother Warren for getting the action started. A little piece of me dies every time I come to this website (which is at least 6 times a day) only to see no parchment direction. The void has been great in time and distance, as it has been since Rhode Island that I have felt verbal nourishment, and now somewhere under the big sky of Montana, the next meal of words will be chosen. Good luck, Master Lieb, and let the great unknown of the West guide your every move...

Indeed, Master Lieb I hope your decision is made with thou codpiece in hand! Good luck. My loins tremble at the thought of our next parchment.

I admire your patience Master Lieb in declaring a suitable parchment. I am gathering a sense as to the depth of your endurance which, if true, extends well beyond your youthful years. The eagerness with which fills my courosity with venerated anticipation is about to explode. Come forth quickly with thee choice!

One can only imagine what the most westward member of our council is going through. After picking the acclaimed "Confederacy of Dunces," the expectations among his brethren are high, and his selection is now months in the making. Like America waited for Obama to take office, we have anticipated his moment in the sun with bated breath, hoping for miracles and, well, a good read. One can only hope that, unlike the new president, his first few weeks after taking office of "High Book Picker" won't be wrought with failure, disappointment, and poor judgment. Good luck, Master Lieb!
